Neil Ogden was one of the final members of the public to go on the BBC Television Centre tour in February 2013.  He took along his microphone in the hope of getting an interview with someone and in the event ended up making a whole programme about that special and memorable afternoon, with a little help from two media students who were there to record the afternoon too.

The result was Goodbye TV Centre The Final Tour and it was nominated in the category of Best Special Event at the National Hospital Radio Awards 2014.

The programme was used on a number of different hospital radio stations as well as Hospital Radio Basingstoke and generated the following comments.

Just so enjoyed your Goodbye TVC programme – really terrific, touching and comprehensive…one for me to add to my archive, thank you!
