The idea for this programme came in October 2015 and over the course of the following few months, we had the help of the press office at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the managers of the individual venues to put it together.  We started live at the Copper Box Arena and finished live at the Orbit two hours later calling in at the Aquatics Centre and VeloPark on the way.  Peter Tudor, Director of Visitor Services at London Legacy Development Corporation was also part of the show, talking about the future of the park and the plans there are for it.  Despite one or two technical problems, the show was a big success.  The aim was always to show that the park is still alive and well and open for business and there is plenty for visitors to see and do.

The programme was mostly live although some elements including the sequence at the Velopark were recorded in advance due to the World Track Cycling Championships happening the weekend of the show.  We produced the show using a handheld tablet and Skype with a team of two people in the studio and two people on site.  There were however up to about 20 people involved in total in the making of the programme.

A one-hour version of the show has since been produced for repeating on Hospital Radio Basingstoke.
